Joint Juice, a health-oriented, recovery- based sports drink brand, looked to engage its target consumer of 30+ year old, active adults. By executing sampling within the target market of Denver during a high activity summer season, Joint Juice looked to reach their target consumer at the point of relevance during physical activity.
Solution
By partnering with Active, Joint Juice was able to leverage 10+ years of sampling expertise and access to a wide range of activity based areas within their target market. Active utilized it’s network of local endurance events and activities such as running, walking, cycling, triathlon, duathlon, mountain biking, adventure racing and action sports as well as through health clubs, fitness facilities and golf courses to reach the target, desirable consumer. Event and facility staff distributed the samples and coupons on location through various distribution methods to active men and women participants through event registration/check-in; lobby area/front desk; displayed on event/registration tables before, during and/or post the event or activity, and hand-to-hand by event and facility staff creating immediate consumer on-site trial, product education and awareness of the brand.
Results
In a three month period, Active Marketing Group distributed a total of 121,380 Joint Juice Fitness samples and 50,000 coupons (73,455 samples and 25,000 coupons through events and 47,925 samples and 25,000 coupons via health clubs, fitness facilities and golf)
